SAYINGS OF THE DAY
1~ "OUR GREATEST GLORY CONSISTS, NOT IN NEVER FALLING, BUT IN RISING EVERYTIME WE FALL"
Being human doesn't imply being perfect,though this may be everyone's dream.
However,everyone does some mistakes, and feeling pitty on ourselves is useless. The challenge
remains in rising up everytime we fall...
The most important thing in life is not to cry on what we may have done, not to stay
down, but to look at the light shining in the dark, inviting us to rise again and again, each
time we fall, like ancient heroes, like those courageous gladiators. Because we have to fight
our weekness and try to learn from our mistakes.
In fact falling down is a necessary step in the aim of giving what's best in us....
That's where hope and faith play a big part in our lives!2~ "PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN GLASS OUSES SHOULD NOT THROW STONES"
Some people, or should we say, most of them, are facing a major problem: honesty and
truthfulness.
They try to act as if they were self-confident, while their situation is precarious;
they act without looking to the future, not knowing that they will be responsible of the
consequences of their acts.
They go promissing people, from the top of their pride and lie, things they can't do,
they don't know that they may fall down and hurt themselves.
The main idea of this saying is that we should know what are our capacities, and we
should be responsible of everything we may do!
3~ "WHEN WE STOP LEARNING WE STOP LIVING"
If we take a look on our lives, and focus on what we are doing everyday, we can realize
that we are not just working, we are not just earting, drinking and breathing...we are also
reaching something bigger, glorious, we are learning.
In fact, everyday comes up with new things to tell us, every rising sun lighten a new
side of life, every sleeping moon tells us a new story... It may be stories about life, or
about ourselves, or about the world....
If we read some of Paolo Coelho's books, like THE ALCHIMIST, we find that he is
developping this saying, in his own philosophical way...
The day we stop learning, is the day we die, cause we won't be able to c what life is,
what life shows us from her secrets.....
4~ "NO PAIN NO GAIN"
From the beginning of men's history, since Adam has eaten the apple of sin, each one of
us have been obliged to work hard to live.
Work has been our everyday bread...Sometimes people look at it if it was the expression
of God's anger.
However, we sould take it as a good thing, keeping hope and faith, cause if we look
closer to what does Pain means, we notice that it is our joy...Can we live without working? Can
we live just by sitting and doing whatever we like? won't we be bored? We enjoy our vacations
because we deserve it, because we were tired from working....
Gebran Khalil Gebran said in his book THE PROPHET, that work is the expression of our
souls... we work 4 others, not only for us, we work for love... And the result of work is gain
(it has not to always be money), is happiness, self-satisfaction.

1~ INTERNET EFFECTS:
The invention of internet has made a big revolution in todays societies. Wherever you
may go, u can join whomever u want in just a second, just by using internet,and talk to him....However, even if it is very usefull, providing many interesting informations, the
internet is not only helping the death of books, but it's also causin major problems, as the
addiction of the children, and the fact that they are spending their time working, playing,
chatting on it, not caring to go out, read some usefull books...
Internet is everywhere, but we should know how to use it....
2~ Lebanese politics: Who to blame?
"Israel is our first ennemy" that's what politicians say; "Syrians should go out" that's
what most of people say....
Whom to listen to??? Who is right?
Some questions are being asked, but no one is answering....
Are the syrian and the palestinians the only one to have caused lebanese war? WE, lebanese,
didn't we leave our country going apart because of some foolish dreams? because of our desire
to live each community aside?
In these dificult times, i think that we should all stick together, muslims and
christians, to work for a better country, for ONE country!
